Let’s just say we have a different approach to packing and both like to be in charge of things. Dejan was in de-commissioning mode (granted, perhaps because of some work influence), while Nives was doing her best not to throw certain things away. After this packing (aided by 10 years of marriage) rules were set: we do not argue over which shoes to throw away and what is the right way to pack clothing (at start anyway). We also know when not to argue while things go missing. Also, just because we haven’t used an item ever, since moving to Ireland didn’t automatically mean we will get rid of it (mouldy biker gear somehow still made it to storage). All this didn’t really align well with 5 feet x 5 feet storage we took out. Catastrophe was on the horizon!
It all finally ended on 2am Monday morning after 7 full days
of full-blown violence and divorce threats. And we even had 3 hours to spare
before the fight to catch some sleep.
FINALLY, we are on our way!!! Exhausted, but feeling mixture of both happiness and sadness to be leaving Ireland and all our friends behind…

Good, there was some wine, it helped to survive this horrifying week :-)
